Introduction: The following is an extensive paper that was presented by noted bicycle expert Charlie McCorkell at a conference sponsored by the New York University School of Medicine. The conference discussed the supposed problem of cycling-induced impotence, which has been the making of several medical careers recently. The main offender is a Dr. Irwin Goldstein, who also spoke at this conference. We're presenting this paper to show that Dr. Goldstein is wrong and that bicycling is one of the best activities for fun and health.
Author's note: Before I presented, Dr. Goldstein did his customary attack on bike saddles, and Dr. McCullough, the emcee for the event, presented slides hitting the highlights of research to date and the health benefits of cycling.
